A guided day at Ekas in a small group, the spot picked on the morning's swell, wind and tide.
We leave Kuta by car for Awang harbour, about twenty minutes away, and cross to Ekas Bay with Boce Surf Boat — twenty-five minutes on the water. It's where we go when Kuta is too small, blown out or too big.
The time we leave is set by the tide, not by the clock: we pick the two best windows of the day and work back from them. You get the plan — time, meeting point, what to bring — on WhatsApp the evening before.
